The immediate sense of disappointment after the Munster final was soon replaced with pride.  Our disappointment was for Harry, Brian and the lads, who had put so much effort, commitment and drive into this campaign.  Supporters were disappointed.  But how must the lads have felt?

But very quickly, the talk was not of losing, but of the great spirit and determination that our lads showed in the second half.  How easy it would have been to just go through the motions in the second half and get home.  But that is not the Crokes style.  It took tremendous courage, character and passion to lift themselves for the second half and put on the display they did.  The surge of pride for those lads on the field was tangible around the Mallow pitch.  And what added to that pride in the black and amber was the continued support from the boys and girls on the hill.  Not a negative word only shouts of support and encouragement.

I will leave the reporting of the game to those that know more about the game than I.  However, it doesn't take a genius to take so many positives out of that game.  We have the team that can and, I believe, will go the whole way ... and soon.  This campaign and this team has made our Club stronger and more unified.  It has brought us closer together as supporters, club-mates and friends.

Thanks Harry, Brian and all involved in our senior team.  Your efforts and dedication has given us so much fun and enjoyment and so much to be proud of this past year and more.  We really appreciate every ounce of blood, sweat and tears ye all have devoted to keep our Club to the fore.  We are proud of you and look forward to another great year for our 125 Anniversary year.
